Dia Mirza was quite upset at the comments that were made by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat about Mother Teresa. When BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi sided with Mohan, this made Dia furious and she took to Twitter.
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s commented that Mother Teresa helped the poor so she could convert them into Christanity.This created a lot of havoc and Meenakshi Lekhi supported him saying that Mother Teresa herself had said something in an interview that her job was to bring people to Christianity.
Dia was not happy with these statements and tweeted,
“Shame on you #MeenakshiLekhi you contort personal faith/work to validate a statement that should be condemned. #MotherTeresa."
"Actually you know what? I am ashamed. Of our thoughts, our actions and our words. #MotherTeresa"
She faced a lot criticism from RSS supporters and then tweeted,
"The trolls are out and hard at work :)"
